Elektron Motor

Established in 2021 , Elektron Motor which is a brand of Akgün Gıda Yem Zahire Makine Imalat Sanayi ve Ticaret established in 2007, Akgün Gıda Yem Zahire Makine started production with food filling machines in its production area.

Our company decided to change its production area in 2021, started to produce shaded pole electric motors. This type of motor is used in everyday equipment such as hoods, ovens, microwave ovens, exhaust fans, electric fans, wall-mounted boilers, air cleaners, air heaters, refrigerators, and many other products.

Construction of Product

The shaded pole induction motor is simply a self-starting single-phase induction motor whose one of the poles is shaded by the copper ring.

It is the fixed part that carries the main winding and auxiliary winding of the motor. The poles in the stator are divided into two halves. A copper ring, also known as a shading coil, is attached to the two lopes of the stator. In our production, we use siliceous and DKP sheet metal according to the customer’s request.
The construction of the rotor is the same as the normal single-phase induction motor. The rotor of shaded pole induction motors is the Squirrel Cage type rotor. The rotor bars are provided with a 60-degree skew. This is to obtain an optimum starting torque and for limiting the torque dip during the run-up.As Elektron Motor, we optimize the air gaplength between stator and rotor is of the order 0.25 to 0.5 mm. A too-short air gap may result in starting-torque variations due to rotor slotting.

The high hardness (58 HRC) shaft is made of 100cr6 which can withstand many years of wear by reducing the friction coefficient with corrosion-resistant super finish grinding.

It is calibrated in the progressive die and very good centering is provided.

It is produced from calibrated powder metals with high oil absorption capacity and high wear resistance.

The materials that our company uses while making winding (coiling) in induction electric motors are state-of-the-art products and are F class insulation materials as standard. In addition, copper and aluminum wires are used according to the customer’s request.
